ANALYST / QUALITY MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE
- Manage, oversee, and implement all aspects of the ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System of the organization.
- Involve in technical laboratory tasks and operations, technical report writing, and routine administrative support.
- Perform ad hoc laboratory and administrative duties where the requirement arises.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for routine and ad-hoc sample analyses of the various laboratory projects as per assigned by the Head of Laboratory or Manager.
- The job involves travelling and providing testing services on-site and working on weekends.
- Responsible for the management and provision of technical training to new staff, and industrial trainees.
- Manage and oversee the laboratory husbandry using the 5S system.
- Support and involved in the writing of relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the ISO/IEC17025 system.
- Provide for general laboratory and non-laboratory maintenance, and repair work.
REQUIREMENTS
- Academic qualification: Possess a diploma or degree in a related science field. Those with a chemistry related background will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge & Skills: Technically competent in general laboratory maintenance. Experience and skills in using GC-MS and / or LC-MS is an added advantage.
- Experiences: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience in a related area and instrumentation skills are added advantage.
