Courtesy Visit by UNIMAS Holdings Sdn Bhd to Usains Biomics
PENANG, 16 December 2025 – Usains Biomics Laboratory Testing Services Sdn Bhd had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from UNIMAS Holdings Sdn Bhd as part of an engagement session to explore potential collaboration opportunities between UNIMAS Holdings and the USAINS Group of Companies.
The UNIMAS Holdings delegation was led by Dr Abang Ekhsan bin Abang Othman, Chief Executive Officer of UNIMAS Holdings Sdn Bhd, and accompanied by Professor Dr Kartinah bt Ayupp, Senior Project Manager, as well as Mr Mohd Hazman bin Othman, Manager of Business Development.
As part of the visit programme, the delegation was also brought on a guided tour of the Usains Biomics Laboratory, as well as selected Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) laboratories, including the National Poison Centre and the Centre for Global Archaeological Research, to gain further insight into the laboratory facilities.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the USAINS Group of Companies’ capabilities, including Laboratory Testing Services, Contract Research Management, Commercialisation, as well as Training programmes offered as part of its business activities. The session also facilitated discussions on potential strategic collaborations, knowledge exchange, and future partnership opportunities aligned with the mutual interests of both parties.
The visit provided a valuable platform for strengthening professional relationships and exploring potential areas of collaboration between both parties.
