Experience Sharing Session on Commercialisation of University Facilities and Capabilities with UMT
15 July 2026 – USAINS Group of Companies and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) were honoured to participate in a virtual experience sharing session with Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).
During the session, USAINS Holding Sdn Bhd shared its experience and practices as the corporate arm of USM, particularly in supporting the commercialisation of university capabilities and strengthening industry engagement.
Usains Biomics Laboratory Testing Services Sdn Bhd (UBLTS) also shared its experience and role in managing laboratory testing services at USM, including the establishment and operation of a ONE-STOP laboratory testing centre, laboratory service management, quality assurance practices, industry collaboration, and the utilisation of university research facilities to support commercial laboratory testing activities.
The session provided an opportunity for USAINS Group of Companies to share its journey, experiences, and approaches in transforming university capabilities into impactful and sustainable initiatives. The discussion highlighted the effective management practices, industry engagement, and the utilisation of university expertise and resources to support innovation and create greater impact through commercialisation.
