PENANG, 3rd Feb 2025 – Professor Dr. Habibah A. Wahab, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), together with her team, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Yasir, CEO, and senior representatives of Malaysian Pharmaceutical Industries Sdn Bhd (MPI). The visit was also attended by Mr. Farid Wajidi, Managing Director of USAINS Holding Group of Companies, and Dr. Lim Sheh Hong from Usains Biomics Laboratory Testing Services Sdn Bhd.

The meeting served to foster stronger collaboration between the pharmaceutical industry and academia, facilitating the exchange of knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences. It also provided an opportunity to explore potential partnerships in pharmaceutical testing, research projects, and training initiatives through USAINS Holding Group of Companies, the commercial arm of USM.
